Dear Parents:
The following rules and regulations are to ensure safe transportation. Any violation of these could result in student suspension from riding the bus for a length of time determined by student’s record and the seriousness of the offense. Please discuss these rules with your children.
- Follow all directions of the bus driver.
- Remain seated on the bus at all times, until time for you to get off at your stop.
- There will be no eating or drinking on the bus.
- There will be no use of profanity.
- There will be no loud or disruptive behavior on the bus.
- No music will be played on the bus.
- Keep the aisle clear of feet, books and other objects.
- Never shout or yell out the window of the bus.
- Only open windows with driver permission.
- Never throw any object inside or out of the bus.
- Be at your bus stop waiting to catch the bus on time. You should allow a 10-minute window for pickups.
- There will be no damage to school property.
North Carolina law requires that you pay for any damage.
Don’t forget riding the bus is a privilege that can be taken away.
Discipline violations on the bus will carry the same punishment as school rules.
*In order to be dropped off at another stop the student must have an authorized note from the office.
